October 9th is a public holiday - The day of the Valencian community marks the anniversary of King James 1 of Aragon's capture of the city of Valencia from Moorish forces. He took control of the city that is now the autonomous community of Valencia.
It is a day off for us all and most business's, schools etc will be closed. So a great day to meet with friends and family for lunch in the beautiful Autumn weather we are having right now in Javea.
So for us at Ultimate Property Javea we will enjoy a quiet day and take ourselves on one of the great walks to offer in Javea through the valley with the ever imposing Montgo mountain looking over us. Maybe then a short respite with a cold beer overlooking the sea and lunch in the lovely port area of Javea at one of the many restaurants we have to choose from.
